On-line courses & one-to-one teaching for A2 Law

I studied for my own law degree as a distance learner so I understand the pressures and problems which students encounter when studying outside the classroom environment.

Courses are designed to fit a student’s particular needs, whether that is revision of a certain area, preparing for retakes or improving grades, or a complete course.

My courses

  • Courses are tailored to a student’s particular needs or areas of difficulty
  • Courses are based on the latest examination-board specifications and law
  • Courses can be from 2 or 3 lessons for revision or practice, to a course of several hours per week covering the whole academic year
  • Course fees are £25 per lesson for on-line learning, £30 per hour one-to-one, face-to-face
  • Examination marking is available at £25 per paper or £10 per individual question
  • My aim is to be flexible so tell me what you need and I will try to help
  • For more information please email me

The lessons include

  • Clearly designed worksheets with a range of activities for each area of law
  • Worksheets covering both the application of the law, and evaluation of the law as required by AQA
  • Case-study worksheets, many with up-to-date cases too recent for the text books
  • Individual marking of your answers plus a guide to each worksheet
  • Email support for any areas of difficulty subject to a fair-use policy

You can use your own text books if you like, or buy mine (go to the Publications page for more).  My book has not been updated for the current specifications although it is still purchased by many teachers who have told me they especially like the coverage of the concepts areas and how these relate to the substantive law.  Additionally, it still covers the majority of the syllabus.  For students using my book, updated chapters will be provided to cover the current specifications (including the new law on voluntary manslaughter).
